we started a new series this morning at arcade - and mr jolink was at it again for us. check it… 

woo hoo!! it is a glorious fall morning today - and guess what. matt and allie are here, ryan and samantha are coming over and we are making breakfast! YES!! there is nothing like an amazing 50 degree overcast morning with good food, good friends, and good coffee! (sorry ry and sam we will pretend to not like the coffee).

after our breakfast goodness we are hoping in the car and heading into the city! man - i am really looking forward to today. and to top it all off we get to see holly’s new art, ryan’s sweet beard, PAXTON SHARP, and the amazing and totally wonderful lisa.

could today get any better? me thinks not!

so by now you have seen the typical video from mute math on you tube. amazing right. well we all heard that they learned the whole song backwards and did the whole thing live in one take. and i gotta tell ya i was a skeptic. then i saw this…

yep. they did it LIVE!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!

tonight at 7pm we are having a gathering of all the life groups at our church for a night of singing, storytelling, praying and glorifying our maker and creator. if you are in the sac area and want to come and join us - feel free! we will be at arcade church from 7-8.30 rockin and rollin!

yes it is 5.58am and we just got back from run numero dos! yes, it was early and it was dark - but it feels great to start the day like this!

at arcade this morning was amazing. i must say i was a little rushed as sound check began before the celebration gathering because someone spoke for 50 mins at the classic gathering…ha! but after i let that go and the gathering began the church was ready to sing! so great. so loud - even on new tunes. jake’s message was so great - you must go download the podcast.

this sunday was our last sunday in our spiritual formation process - serve. it is so refreshing and convicting listening to how the church can be the church - how we need to be jesus - following his incarnation - developing an incarnational mission. taking the focus off of getting people into the church building and placing it on going to the people and being the church. good stuff.

these words dont do the morning justice - there was just an amazing overall sense of people wanting to offer themselves up as a sacrifice to God and to go and be the church. also a great sense of all of us unified, moving forward in passion and purpose. man - i am so pumped to be a part of this community and looking forward for what is to come…

wow. seriously amazing. i did not think i could ever love running. even like running. and now i am a convert thanks to the love of my life. thanks babe for pushing me into running and jumping into the world of nike +. also BIG thanks to allie for working at nike and getting us the saweet hookup at the employee store. my new shoes rock!!
