last one for now…
we were driving back to tom and melanie’s tonight after hanging with the jolinks (tear) and reflecting on our time here. what the challenges have been, how we’ve grown, why we even came, and hoping and praying that sacramento shapes us again and we are able to connect with people deeply. i guess sometimes you dont realize how deep some relationships are until you start leaving them..

we made it. closing was amazing - no problems, now we are free to rest. ever since we have returned from sac we have been looking forward to rest - now we have it! so sad to think we dont have the house anymore…but i’m sure we will eventually get used to it.
thanks to everyone who has been praying for us. like amanda said - God is good!
looking forward to one here soon enough…just finished the work on the house, the buyer is coming tonight and the movers came and got our stuff this morning…it is really happening!!
holy craziness. just landed back in houston at 6pm and movers are coming at 9am. AHHHHH!! here we go! sac was amazing - more later, when i can think straight…back to packing…

we are well on our way to having the place set up - i finished all the painting yesterday and now we begin the final unpacking stage. wish us luck!
yes it was a short night last night - we painted until 2am, then started moving out of the apt at 10am . thanks to EVERYONE for helping. we could not have done it without you. so now we kick back and enjoy our first night in the home…feels great!
i will post some pics tomorrow - after everything has calmed down and i can take a breath….
yes - you gotta laugh - we havent moved in yet, but i had the cable guy come and set up the tv and internet!! ha!! today i cleaned out the garage and painted it and put up some closet stuff in our room. it has been a long day - and we are not done yet - amanda is coming and we are going to PAINT!! whoo hoo! we will post pictures today - before and after we paint.

so the latest is that we are hoping to close tomorrow - keep us in mind these next few days…we are kinda stressed about all this stuff…
